Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AI Metadata Cleaner, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use AI Metadata Cleaner for personal and commercial purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the service materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose that competes with our service
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on our website
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations

Service Description

AI Metadata Cleaner removes metadata and AI-generated identifiers from files.

• Images on our website are cleaned in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.
• Videos, PDFs and RAW photos, and any file sent to our API, are uploaded to our server in Germany, cleaned there, and deleted within minutes. Our privacy policy explains exactly how long each file is kept.

The API is included with the Business plan. Each API key belongs to one account; keep your keys secret, and you are responsible for any use of them. You can revoke a key at any time on your API keys page.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to process and modify the files you clean
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations
• Not using the service for illegal or harmful purposes
• Respecting copyright and intellectual property rights

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to process:

• Any sexual content involving minors. We report it to the relevant authorities.
• Content you have no right to use, such as someone else's copyrighted work or private recordings made without consent.
• Files meant to harm computers or people, such as malware.
• Anything intended to deceive people in ways the law forbids, such as fraud, or to hide evidence from a legal investigation.

Where a law requires you to disclose that content was made or edited with AI, removing its metadata does not remove that duty. You remain responsible for any disclosure the law requires of you.

Cleaning is automatic and nobody looks at your files. If we become aware that an account is being used against these rules, or to overload or abuse the service, we may suspend or close it without a refund.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without any representations or warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will meet your specific requirements
• All metadata will be completely removed from every file
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The results will be suitable for any particular purpose

Limitations

In no event shall AI Metadata Cleaner be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the service.

File Size and Usage Limits

Images cleaned on our website:

• Anonymous users: 3 images per day, one at a time, up to 10MB each
• Registered users: 10 images per day, one at a time, up to 10MB each
• Pro subscribers: unlimited, up to 10 images at once, up to 20MB each
• Business subscribers: unlimited, up to 50 images at once, up to 50MB each

Videos, PDFs, RAW photos and API files, per calendar month:

• Registered users: 3 files, up to 100MB each
• Pro subscribers: 100 files, up to 250MB each, 25GB in total
• Business subscribers: 10,000 files, up to 2GB each, 1TB in total, and API access

These limits may be adjusted to ensure good performance for all users.

Modifications

We may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this service, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms.

Refunds

Annual subscriptions are fully refundable within 30 days of any payment, including renewals, and cancelling within that window refunds you automatically. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time and keep access until the period you have paid for ends. See our refund policy for the full details.
